Boston Fleet held on for a 4-1 win thanks to goaltender Aerin Frankel, who made 35 saves for her second game this season with at least 30.

Alina Müller and Emily Brown each scored their first goal of the season in the first period, and Aerin Frankel stopped 35 shots to help the Boston Fleet beat the Toronto Sceptres 4-1 on Wednesday night.

In Boston’s first game since Dec. 8, 2024 at home, the Fleet scored quickly to get off to a hot start and “weathered the storm” that Toronto brought in the second to hold onto the lead before adding two more in the third in the 4-1 win.

Everything seemed to be pointing in the right direction for the Toronto Sceptres. Then along came Aerin Frankel and they appear to be right back where they had been. The Boston Fleet goaltender stopped 35 of 36 Toronto shots,
