The New York Yankees, now nearly a week removed from losing the 2024 World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers, are expected to "discuss" manager Aaron Boone's future in the coming days, according to the New York Post.

The New York Yankees have a big decision looming in regards to the contract of manager Aaron Boone. Boone signed a three-year extension in 2021 that included a team option for the 2025 season. General manager Brian Cashman hinted Tuesday that the team was leaning towards picking up the option and bringing back their manager for the upcoming campaign,

Cashman knows a lot of Yankees fans want Boone fired. Their boos at Yankee Stadium and complaining on social meeting doesn’t change his mind at all about Boone, whose .584 winning percentage in seven seasons is second highest among active managers behind the Dodgers’ Dave Roberts (.627).
