IDF troops demolished the home of Hamas operative Jaafar Muna in the West Bank city of Nablus during an overnight operation on Wednesday, the IDF confirmed on Thursday. Muna was responsible for a suicide bombing in Tel Aviv involving what security officials described as an unusual improvised explosive device.

Hamas had previously said it had agreed with Witkoff on a general framework of an agreement that would lead to a lasting ceasefire, a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, an influx of aid, and a transfer of power from the militant group to a politically independent committee of Palestinians.

Israel faces calls from more than 12 nations, including allies, to explain why forces opened fire as a large delegation of diplomats visited the occupied West Bank.
