The Prime Minster presented US President Donald Trump with a letter from the King, as he invited him for an unprecedented second state visit. As the pair were sat next to each other in the Oval Office, the US President said he would be visiting the UK in the “near future”.

Mr Trump was answering a question about EU-US relations during his first face-to-face meeting with the Prime Minister.
