The South Carolina Gamecocks basketball season hasn't quite gone as they might have hoped. However, after a commanding win vs. Arkansas, it's clear they've saved their best for last.

All the momentum John Calipari’s team had built since its February 1 victory over Kentucky took a major hit in a 72-53 blowout loss at South Carolina. The defeat doesn’t erase Arkansas’ recent progress, but it serves as a stark reminder that this team can’t afford another misstep with an already short bench and key injuries hampering its depth.

Unacceptable. Disastrous.  And even those descriptors might not do the Razorbacks' first-half performance justice in a 72-53 loss to last-place South Carolina (12-17, 2-14) Saturday.
