On Tuesday’s (September 17) edition of Wheel of Fortune the nascent host was helpful to all of the three contestants for the evening — Clayton, Erica, and Jess — in that he would dutifully remind them to be very, very careful in how they pronounced their solves. But his guidance was particularly rewarding when heeded by Clayton.

Ryan Seacrest has had a difficult first two weeks hosting Wheel of Fortune. He replaced the great Pat Sajak, who retired back in June after 43 years hosting the beloved game show. Obviously, those are some big shoes to fill.

Television legend Vanna White could become host of Wheel of Fortune if Ryan Seacrest isn't well-received by viewers and season ratings don't increase, insiders claim. Seacrest, 49, made his debut as host of the ABC gameshow when the new season launched earlier this month after Pat Sajak retired this summer following his 40-year tenure.
