Not the first time for Google This isn’t the first time a Google update has messed with the Pixel’s fingerprint sensor. Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2 caused similar issues for some users.

Just to be perfectly clear, the fingerprint sensor bug hit only some Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a users. It didn’t affect any other phones, it would seem.
