One Direction singer Liam Payne will be given a special tribute at the Brit Awards, according to UK media reports. The Sun newspaper’s weekend exclusive asserts that producers of the annual awards ceremony celebrating the best of the British pop industry are planning to remember the late singer following his death in October 2024.

Reports suggest that Payne was under the influence of multiple drugs at the time of his untimely death. His girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, had left Argentina two days before the incident.

The latest organisation to pay tribute to the star is the Brit Awards, which will be ‘unforgettable.’ It has also been speculated One Direction – which also included Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan – could reunite for the occasion after splitting in 2016.
