March is an unusually light month for Netflix, which has built its reputation as the world's biggest streaming service on the back of putting its competition into submission through volume. But the most interesting new releases Netflix does have coming this month give us a peek at Netflix's current strategy.

Netflix has announced that it's adding support for HDR10+ streaming, on top of the existing HDR10 and Dolby Vision formats that are already offered on the streaming service. HDR10+ should offer greater visual fidelity on a per-frame basis for Netflix's frequently dark original programming.

Netflix is always adding new movies and shows (both original and otherwise), and March has been no different. That constant stream of content is a big plus for subscribers, but it can also make it difficult for every new release to find would-be fans.
