You likely wouldn’t recognize Landen, but you'll probably remember his story — and what happened to him nearly four years ago at the Mall of America.

Landen Hoffmann, 5, broke his skull, facial bones, both arms and a leg when he a deranged stranger randomly picked him up at the mall and tossed him over the side of the third-floor balcony.

The Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota announced Monday it would strengthen its security policies after 5-year-old Landen Hoffmann was thrown from a 40 foot balcony by Emmanuel Aranda in 2019.
