Celtics fans held their collective breath late Monday night, as superstar forward Jayson Tatum left Boston’s game against the Sacramento Kings due to a left ankle sprain. Tatum suffered the injury midway through the third quarter of Boston’s eventual 113-95 win over the Kings.

Tatum left the game as the leading scorer, tallying 25 points on 8-of-15 shooting, seven rebounds and eight assists in 26 minutes of action. If his injury isn't deemed very serious, the Celtics still seem likely to hold him out down the final stretch as the NBA Playoffs approach.
