It may or may not be a "safe bet" that quarterback Aaron Rodgers will eventually sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason, as he is reportedly still an option for a New York Giants team that is looking for a bridge player at the position this spring.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported the Steelers have put out an offer to Rodgers and that has not changed in weeks. The parameters of a deal already seem to be in place, it is simply up to Rodgers to sign the deal or decide to head somewhere else, like the Giants, or retire from the NFL.

Between now and whenever the Pittsburgh Steelers make a decision about the quarterback position we are going to continue to hear every pundit share their thoughts on whether or not the Steelers holding out for Aaron Rodgers is a good idea.
