Here's an early look at how bettors are approaching some of the biggest games in Week 1 of the 2025 college football season

With all eyes on Ohio State-Texas Saturday and then the kickoff of the NFL season next week, agencies want to make sure people are placing bets safely so betting doesn’t overtake their bank accounts.

While the betting public isn't sold on North Carolina, oddsmakers have upgraded the Tar Heels in their power ratings due to Belichick, who covered the spread in 56.2% of games during his NFL career. Joey Feazel, head football oddsmaker at Caesars Sportsbook, estimated that Belichick is worth upwards of two points to the Tar Heels.

With that hard-nosed, run-first approach, the Rams are hungry to improve upon last year’s 5-5 record and second straight playoff appearance. South Haven has made the postseason in four of its past five seasons but has only one playoff win over that span. They hope to change that this fall.
