As you probably know by now, New York Yankees legend CC Sabathia was elected to the Hall of Fame on Tuesday evening. Sabathia spent seven years in Cleveland and half a season in Milwaukee to open his MLB career.

CC Sabathia adds another C to his name now, for Cooperstown, now that he becomes the latest great Yankee to become a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

CC Sabathia has made it clear he wants to go into the Baseball Hall of Fame as a New York Yankee, calling the organization his home. He was welcomed to baseball’s most prestigious club by his former teammate Derek Jeter and joins another in Mariano Rivera. There is no shortage of Yankees in Cooperstown.
