GLENDALE, Ariz. — The New York Jets’ harbinger of doom came before the game even started. The Denver Broncos had just lost and, shortly after, the Indianapolis Colts too. In the press box at State Farm Stadium, GM Joe Douglas and other members of the Jets front office celebrated. They clapped. They smiled.

The Jets' 31-6 loss in Arizona on Sunday was a terrible and embarrassing performance by Jeff Ulbrich’s group. They spent so much time talking about the Cardinals’ rushing attack and stopping James Conner that they didn’t spend enough time planning and preparing for Arizona’s passing game.
