And even though the Brazilian duo lit up the world stage with their clinical finishes — eight goals between them — it was Bebeto who became a household name for his unique goal celebration.

Bebeto says son Mattheus Oliveira was "introduced to football" by his famous 1994 World Cup goal celebration and has backed the new Sporting Lisbon signing to emulate him by representing Brazil.

Bebeto becomes the latest Brazilian legend to join the LOC after three-time FIFA Player of the Year and two-time European Footballer of the Year Ronaldo was confirmed in the role in December.
