NASA websites have dropped references to landing the first woman on the moon as part of the goals for its Artemis program.

NASA websites no longer state that the Artemis 3 mission will aim to land the first person of color and the first woman on the moon, but the agency says this does not reflect a change in crew.

U.S. President Donald Trump's campaign to eliminate diversity efforts and language from government organizations has officially reached the moon, with NASA erasing references to its promise to land the first woman and first person of colour on there from several of its web pages.
