An 18-year-old Pomeranian is the inspiration behind a children's book about adoption and is helping to raise awareness about animal fostering and rescues.

Joe Manganiello, the 2025 Clear the Shelters celebrity partner, is working with the pet adoption campaign to help find homes for thousands of animal between Aug. 1 to Aug. 31.
