The Pittsburgh Pirates activated shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa from the 10-day injured list while also optioning Liover Peguero to Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday.

With the Mets trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Acuña followed center fielder Tyrone Taylor, who was in scoring position after being hit by a pitch and then stealing second. The Mets answered back in the fourth inning against Skenes. Nimmo led off the inning with a line drive double, and then center fielder Jeff McNeil, swinging on the first pitch, followed with a one-out double to right field to tie the game 1-1.
