The Delaware County prosecutor is not filing charges against a Henry County sheriff's deputy involved in a police chase that ended in a deadly crash. According to Muncie Police Deputy Chief Melissa Criswell,

"There has to be a balance struck between the need for public safety and the need to apprehend criminals who flee," the prosecutor said.
