After the Bucks shocked the NBA community by waiving and stretching Dame to make room so they could sign former Indiana Pacers big man Myles Turner, the dust settled, with Lillard sharing he was actually happy with this course of events.

The sure-fire Hall of Famer is a free agent for the first time in his career, and the Celtics have a midlevel exception slot that could fit him nicely.
