One Celtic fan had a night to remember after helping orchestrate a lovely post-match moment with fans of Young Boys. Joshua McLaughlin had just seen the Hoops make sure of a place in the Champions League playoff round after the visitors’ defender Loris Benito put through his own goal with four minutes remaining to hand Celtic a 1-0 win.

While Celtic's position in the Scottish Premiership is characteristically excellent, they find themselves in the middle of the pack in the Champions League, just inside the new-format playoff qualification spots.
