Barry Morphew was indicted on a charge of murder in the first degree after deliberation in the death of his wife, Suzanne Morphew. Barry Morphew has been extradited to Colorado.

Today was the first time Morphew has appeared before a Colorado judge since his arrest in Arizona in late June. Morphew was in custody in jail clothes. He sat at the defense table next to his attorneys, David Beller and Jane Byrialsen. They are different lawyers than who represented Morphew in 2021.
