Athens and Alabama officials held a press conference Thursday morning, with a big focus of aerial footage which showcased the path of the EF-1 Tornado. City and State officials are still assessing the damage from the storm.

Several buildings were damaged or destroyed when a tornado came through the city of Athens. Athens Mayor Ronnie Marks joined FOX Weather to talk about how the city is doing after the storms.

The city of Athens says employees with the city and Limestone County are continuing work Monday to address damage caused by a tornado that hit Athens Saturday night.
