That's a tough one! When I go to the ballet, I like to have floor seating. I can better appreciate the leaps as opposed to viewing them from above. However, if you are seated behind a tall person, your sight line will certainly be compromised. Perhaps you can get an aisle seat. How do you feel about first row seating? You would have a great view of the dancers' feet but would lack the full overview. Sorry I couldn't be more help, but the final decision needs to be yours.
