The Gettysburg Reenactment is in July, around the anniversary of the Battle. They offer tours of the battlefield year around though. I would suggest getting a hotel in Gettysburg if you go because it's several hours from Philadelphia.
Hi - My husband and I are traveling to the reenactment this year and planning ahead. We think we will buy a two day pass, in order to allow time to both see the reenactment, but also see the rest of Gettysburg. If purchase a two-day package - which do you think would be the best or most interesting days to attend? I'm thinking definitely the last day, but any suggestions on the other day? We will be in Gettysburg from the 4th until the 9th. Thank you!

do you have the reenactments more than once a year cuz we are thinking about coming in July around 2018 around the last week of July 1st of August and we were hoping that there would be some reenactments and we are wanting to find out about campgrounds and that kind of stuff that take pets and they have tent sites with water and electric also and that have military discounts or AARP discounts
