I'm not certain about this....you should contact the fiesta web site. I would think it the rain is light and no thunderstorms the balloons would fly, but contact the fiesta folks...

Hoping to bring a group of special needs travelers. Getting to the festival at the crack of dawn isn't really an option, even 7am is too early for some. If we get to the festival grounds at 10am, will the balloons still be in the air? Would it be better to get tickets for the evening session?

At ten AM you would missed the balloons going up. The consessions will be own but the balloons will hardly be flying or just a few will be up. In the evening, you will see the night …

At ten AM you would missed the balloons going up. The consessions will be own but the balloons will hardly be flying or just a few will be up. In the evening, you will see the night flow but the balloons will just be tethered not flying. The balloons are amazing try to get there by 8 am at the latest. Good luck and you will enjoy it.

Yes, always bring something to sit on (There are benches but they are taken up fast)

Hi! The 50th Balloon Fiesta is scheduled to take place October 1-9, 2022. Tickets will be available for purchase in April.
