Let your imagination run wild in this intimate family home steeped in history. A house spanning the centuries from its royal beginnings in Tudor times to its place as a welcoming retreat full of intrigue for you to explore, lose yourself in an era of inspiration with names such as Jane Austen gracing our story. Discover a chapel where sunlight streams in through magnificent stained-glass windows, an ancient Roman ring and a theatrical 18th-century staircase hall. The view from the house steals your breath with the silent beauty of the first hoar frost, the autumnal glow through a misty morning to lazy summer days spent picnicking on the lawn that stretches to a shimmering lake. The gardens are a peaceful escape from the suburban surrounds. Discover secret picnic spots, stroll by the ornamental lake or explore the restored Walled Garden now a working kitchen garden providing delicious, fresh and seasonal produce to our Tudor Tea room.

We enjoyed our visit here. A well maintained 500 year old property, with lots of history, plus free on site parking. Great volunteers too.Full review by KingOfTheNorth99

This is a bit of an odd question. I recently visited The Vyne, but due a serious of unfortunate accidents I lost all my pictures. I am now creating a photo journal of all places I've visited and have none of The Vyne. Would anyone be willing to share 3-4 images with me. I'd love one pic of the house itself, and then a couple of the grounds (the lake, flowers etc). I'd really appreciate it. Thanks
A:
Hi there! Yes I can. Best wishes, Gill
Q:
Have you got any photos of the bluebells this year?
A:
Sorry not so far, but in the past we have found the bluebells just off the A30 halfway between Basingstoke and Winchester have been excellent.
