Beautiful and tranquil tropical gardens in the middle of the city. Don't miss the birds and the flamingos. It's worth about an hour on a nice morning in St Petersburg. Full review by David W

I have no idea when they reopened. I think they scaled down some from what it was many years ago, but it's well maintained and very nice. We spent probably 2 hours there.

The Gardens shares a parking lot with a restaurant and a Children's Museum. The lot can get packed on weekends. Sometimes if you circle for awhile, someone will be …

The Gardens shares a parking lot with a restaurant and a Children's Museum. The lot can get packed on weekends. Sometimes if you circle for awhile, someone will be leaving and a space will open. If not, there is parking across the street. There are many restaurants located on 4th Avenue. So, if you want to eat before or after, you have many choices. The Gardens take about 1 hour to go thru. The gift shop has many nice items to buy. Heads Up: They do close areas of the Gardens for Weddings. Also, check on Groupon for a discount.
