How expensive is the permit, flight and renting camp gear? TY

The permit is $525, you need to get to Anchorage from wherever you live, the cost of the flight from anchorage to homer about $270 rt, from homer to McNeill’s $725 + tax.. June 2019
I want to know if that float plane is 2000 pp or per party (so in my case 2 people)? Also unwanted to do the best viewing but not camping. That is an option, right?

It's per party. Camping only there, otherwise consider Brooks lodge in Katmai NP
One person mentioned $2000. float from Homer to camp and that there is an option to fly from Anchorage. Is there any updated info on the flight costs to camp? $2000. is quite steep, no?
