There will be plenty for an 8 year old and adult alike to see and experience. I'd especially recommend that you go on a day when there are taxy runs, as you can get sooo close to the awesome Merlin engines as they get started and as she taxys, see the beautiful Just Jane and/or Spirit of Val up close, great thing for anyone of any age to experience.

Usually just those days but if you go to the website lincsaviation you can see the events they have when it also taxis. You can book a ride in a taxi run too. (Quite expensive but would be a great experience.) If you are camping or caravanning there is a small site next door which is run by a friendly couple and is well maintained. eastkirkbyhideaway The website isn’t brilliant but it is a lovely little site with ehu,showers, toilets, Elsan. BBQ’s you can borrow too!
