Went on a sunny weekend, could not find a free parkings space anywhere. Seems anywhere on the NE and Yorkshire coast never has a free parking space on a weekend or bank holiday.Full review by Eddie M

Cold and wintery day as normal at that time of year in the North East, to be fair, most of the year a jacket is needed. It is easy to get down onto the small beach. 5 minutes from Tynemouth station.Full review by 422iana

yes from September to May, you can also go to long sands beach at the far end in summer with your dog, then you can call at The View for drinks or food
