Spend the weekend at the Shrimp and Grits festival. We biked everywhere and didn't move our cars all weekend. Trails are in great shape and go everywhere you need to go.Full review by MikeGA19591982

We rode our e-bikes on all the trails. We saw several other couples with e-bikes as well. We rode at a safe speed and were courteous to those we passed walking as well as riding. We used our bell faithfully to let others know that we were around. Like another reviewer said I do believe it is a gray area but if you use common sense and are respectful of others while riding I don't think there will be any problem. We rode these trails for a solid week and we have it encountered any negativity from anyone. Now we have had a lot of people ask us about our e-bikes and say they were interested in getting one to do what we were doing. I think they are a great way to get around as long as you use courtesy. I have knee issues and electric bike has been a blessing to me. It has allowed me to go on a lot of trails that I just would not be able to do otherwise.
Yes dogs can walk on these trails as long as they are on a leash. Jekyll island is extremely dog-friendly. Just be sure to take a bag and clean up after your dog.
