A short drive from anywhere in the Vancouver Fraser Valley area. Known for our giant inflatable floating waterpark located right off the beach. We also offer SEA-DOO(jetski), and Bumper Boat Rentals. Our floating waterslide like park is packed with many challenging obstacles that will test your abilities! Our seadoo's takes your regular boat rental experience to the next level. Lastly if you like getting wet with the whole family jump in our bumper boats that are equipped with water guns. From action packed to just relaxing we have an activity for you at HWS!

We are planning to visit Harrison Springs this July but having not been there before, I wondered if the water park is close enough to the public beach for us to allow our kids (both over 10 years old) to use the inflatable water park without my husband and I needing to pay an admission as we have no intention of using the facility but would like the reassurance of being able to spot them if they need us? Thanks!
A:
You can observe them from the beach. Everybody participating wears a life vest too.

We had our dogs on leash with us, but only on the docks and park areas around the beach (not on the floating play structures etc.) and found that dogs were received well in the area. There is an area that seems to unofficially allow dogs off leash (Rundall park?) at the opposite end of the beach area. It is not a far walk at all, and although you can see the water play area, it is not a place you can view the water sports activities from. We took our dogs off leash and threw the ball in the water for them to cool off. The beach sloped nicely into the water and our puppy did his first swim on his own there fetching his ball. There is a little ice cream place there that helped cool us off too. Along the cute waterfront street there are little shops and outdoor places to get a bite to eat which makes it easy with the dogs. Hope this helps.
