Hi there. I’m hoping to book a holiday in a dog friendly static caravan - just wondering how long the walk to the beach would be if we were placed in the caravan that is furthest from the beach? (Proximity to the beach is a deciding factor in our upcoming booking, which is why we’ve landed on Golden Cap!)

Hi, what is the beach like here? I’ve read that it’s shingle but has shelving, does that mean it’s unsuitable for kids to paddle up to waist depth? Are there times of day when it is safe to paddle?

Seatown beach is family friendly, we strongly advise supervision of your children at all times due to tides and the natural shelving in the sea bed. Please check tide times at bbc weather
