We had John, the cave man, who informed us and led us throughout the cave. He did a very good job! We highly recommend, very cool!Full review by Cora G

Great tour, really cool cave. Our tour guide was a young man who knew all about the cave, he did a great job. Lots of really cool formations in this one including cave “bacon”!Full review by jennycT3897ZE

Our guide made this experience a memorable one. Very informative and accommodating. Great experience as it was my husband's first cave exploration.Full review by Christine O

It depends on the child. We have 3 year olds for example who do great on the tour with help from their parents on our steep steps. People carry children in the front and make it through fine. We have handrails throughout the cave. With 350 stair steps throughout the whole tour. We are rated strenuous with a 1/2 mile walk. So really depends the child, how many kids vs adults and how well they can walk on their own.
Can I take a self guided tour here or is only way to visit with a tour guide??
A:
Yes, due to the nature of caves you are required to be guided. It is a one hour historic tour. This is to help preserve the cavern and to keep visitors safe and on trail. Hope this helps!
