Salt water generator displaying “COLD” when water is warm
WEBAug 16, 2021 · Hi my Hayward swimpure plus keeps saying “cold” on the display and the water is in the 80s. It reads the correct temperature. It just says “cold” on the display and stops producing chlorine. Thoughts on what is going on? I tried replacing the thermistor on the SWG and that didn’t do anything. Maybe try replacing the salt cell? Thoughts?

The display reads a salt level of 2600 but it is actually 3200 verified twice by pool store. The Salt generator cell was checked at Pool Store and no errors.
