Salt water generator displaying “COLD” when water is warm
WEBAug 16, 2021 · Hi my Hayward swimpure plus keeps saying “cold” on the display and the water is in the 80s. It reads the correct temperature. It just says “cold” on the display and stops producing chlorine. Thoughts on what is going on? I tried replacing the thermistor on the SWG and that didn’t do anything. Maybe try replacing the salt cell? Thoughts?

WEBJun 9, 2017 · The check cell light can be shut off by holding the diagnostic button for 3-sec (comes back on next time pump/system is started). The display reads a salt level of 2600 but it is actually 3200 verified twice by pool store. The Salt generator cell was checked at Pool Store and no errors.

I just checked, I bought this salt water system and converted my pool on May 2, 2016. Control box says AQR15 - 3A16039-103757. Cell -Turbo Cell GLX-Cell-15.

WEBJun 20, 2023. #1. Aquarite is reading 4800 salt level. Had water tested pool place says salt is at 3600. I had a bad salt cell, replaced my cell with an over sized Blue Works T-9 version. I had a t3. I have changed the cell type on the board, reset salt level etc... board is still reading high. I am at a loss.
